Play Backgammon online for free

Looking for a challenging but fun board game? Then Backgammon is perfect for you. You try to get your pieces to the end box. Do this by rolling the right dices, and by knocking your opponent’s pieces back to the start. Can you get all your pieces over the finish line, before your opponent does? Find out in this free to play thinking game.

The gameplay of Backgammon

Before starting the level, choose the difficulty, amount of matches needed and color. When all of this is sorted out, start playing. You and your opponent’s pieces spawn on the board, and you need to move them to the bottom right corner. Here is your finish line, the box next to the board. Move all your pieces to the slots next to the finish line, and when all of them are there, move the pieces into the box to win the round!

Roll the dice to determine where your pieces can move, and how many slots. Move them across the board, and knock out any of your opponent’s pieces on the way to hinder them. When your pieces have been knocked back, you have to put them on the board first, before playing with any other pieces. You can only knock out pieces when they are on their own in a slot, so keep that in mind!

When you roll a double, you can decide to move even more spaces. The choice is up to you! Make all the right moves, and get gammon before your opponent does to win in this challenging strategy game.
