Yukon Solitaire
Yukon Solitaire is a card game and a variant of the popular game Solitaire, which can also be found on our site. Solitaire Classic is definitely fun, but in this Yukon version, you can move all uncovered cards from a pile, regardless of their suit. This gives you more combinations and makes for a fun alternative to Solitaire. Try it out and have fun!
How to play Yukon Solitaire
One whole deck of cards is laid out in 7 rows. 1 card to the 1st pile, 2 to the 2nd row and so on. Only the top card of each row is uncovered. Finally, 4 open cards are added to the 2nd till 7th row. The goal is to sort the cards by suit in the foundation piles to the right of the board. You start a sequence with an Ace, then the 2, 3, 4 and so on. All piles end with the King. You can only move the uncovered cards on the rows, onto cards that are one rank higher. So you can move a Jack of spades onto a Queen of hearts. When you have an empty row, only the king can be the top card in this row.
By removing a card from a row with covered cards, the covered cards that are open on the board will be revealed, and you can use those cards as well. The goal of this card game is to reveal the Aces as soon as possible. You move those aces to the foundation piles and start making the sequences with the suits of the ace. By allowing you to move all uncovered cards from a pile, Yukon Solitaire makes this easier.
