Mahjong Titans
Mahjong Titans is a simple and straightforward one-round Mahjong game using the Turtle tile layout. Find the matching pairs. Look for tiles that are free on either the right or left side. Combine them to remove the pairs from the table until all the pieces are gone.
How do you play Mahjong Titans?
In this thinking game, your objective is to clear all the tiles from the table. You can remove tiles by combining the matching pairs. To pick up a tile and make a pair, you have to be able to slide it out on either the right or the left side. The tile cannot be wholly or partially covered by any other tile either.
You have only one chance to complete the game, because if you run out of moves, the tiles cannot be reshuffled. You’ll just have to try again from the start. That’s why it’s important to look at the tiles carefully before you remove them. Is the move you’re about to make wise? Will it free up any other tiles you need, or can you find a better combination to play?
What are the best Mahjong Titans Strategy Tips?
This is a surprisingly tricky mahjong game for players who enjoy a challenge. We’ll share a little tip with you though: it’s best to focus on the top layers of tiles and the longest rows first. This is because the tiles in the middle are the hardest to reach. Players most often tend to get stuck trying to get to them if this is left till later in the game.
Is this the Microsoft Mahjong Titans game?
No, it’s a different game. While there used to be a game originally bundled with Microsoft Vista that was also called Mahjong Titans, this is not the same one. This game first appeared online as simply “Mahjong”, but at some point, websites started calling it by its current title so often that it became the game’s official title. In the meanwhile, Microsoft’s Mahjong Titans game also changed its title, and is now simply called ‘Microsoft Mahjong’.
When was Mahjong Titans published?
The original Flash-version of this game first appeared online in 2002. Having remained popular over the decades, it’s a true classic of the online puzzle games genre. The first release date of the current HTML5 version is June 14, 2017.
Who made Mahjong Titans?
This game was created by the developer Zygomatic and by Agame.
